Wants vs Needs: Corruption of Esteem Needs! – Introduction

Wants vs Needs - Corruption of Esteem Needs!

Wants vs Needs: Corruption of Esteem Needs!

Welcome back to the 32nd episode of Skeletal Leap: A Living Adventure!

Today’s episode titled “Wants vs Needs: Corruption of Esteem Needs!” will tell you about corruption in charitable organizations.

Value systems fall under sociocultural throat chakra to fulfill the needs of self-esteem. The currency here is ‘morals’.

‘Morals’, the sociocultural currency of the next deficiency need, i.e., self-esteem, turned more important than need itself.

The cultural extension of morals, i.e., value systems, started as ethical codes for social esteem but soon turned into moral codes for suppressing the individual spirit.

Charitable and non-profit organizations became the face of this suppression and resulted in the sociocultural throat chakra getting closed.

In our journey of sociocultural evolution, our value systems have also been disintegrating and are confusing us at each and every step we, the Homo sapiens, take today.

SKELETAL LEAP, the mind body connection for mind and body healing, is a giant leap that our skeleton can take through the way it postures its joints.

I had stumbled upon this miracle many years ago, coincidentally

It took me quite a few years to analyze it fully, and then a few more to turn the results of my analysis into a feasible action plan.

I come up with a new weekly episode every Tuesday morning for miraculous healing enthusiasts to effectively start their weekdays with what they like the most!

Wants vs Needs - Corruption of Esteem Needs!
Wants vs Needs: Corruption of Esteem Needs!

In this thought-provoking episode of Skeletal Leap: A Living Adventure, titled “Wants vs Needs: Corruption of Esteem Needs!”, I dive deep into the intricate relationship between morality, self-esteem, and the socio-cultural structures that shape our society.

Join me as I explore how the moral values created by humanity, which were intended to serve our self-esteem needs, have been corrupted and manipulated by those in power.

Discover how these moral codes, initially designed to uphold social esteem, have transformed into instruments of suppression that close the socio-cultural throat chakra.

Through a critical lens, I examine the disintegration of value systems and their impact on charitable and non-profit organizations, revealing how they have become emblematic of this suppression.

I question the very foundation of our moral values and their relationship with our instinctual drives, challenging you to reconsider what it means to live authentically in a society riddled with contradictions.

As I navigate this complex terrain, I uncover the unfortunate consequences of these moral constructs on personal relationships and societal cohesion.

This episode encourages you to reflect on the true essence of charity and the implications of a system that prioritizes moral currency over genuine need.

Don’t miss this enlightening discussion that sheds light on the corruption of our charitable institutions and the broader implications for humanity.

Here are the highlights…

Today’s episode titled “Corruption Unleashed:
How It Distorts Our Self-Esteem Needs!”, I will

0:00:35.240,0:00:38.880
tell you about corruption
in charitable organizations.

0:00:40.240,0:00:45.840
Value systems fall under sociocultural throat
chakra to fulfill the needs of self-esteem.

0:00:47.000,0:00:54.360
The currency here is ‘morals’. ‘Morals’,
the sociocultural currency of the next

0:00:54.360,0:01:00.400
deficiency need, i.e., self-esteem,
turned more important than need itself.

0:01:01.640,0:01:08.080
The cultural extension of morals, i.e.,
value systems, started as ethical codes

0:01:08.080,0:01:14.320
for social esteem but soon turned into moral
codes for suppressing the individual spirit.

0:01:15.560,0:01:21.680
Charitable and non-profit organizations became
the face of this suppression and resulted in the

0:01:21.680,0:01:27.120
sociocultural throat chakra getting closed.
Value Systems

0:01:28.560,0:01:34.480
In our journey of sociocultural evolution, our
value systems have also been disintegrating

0:01:34.480,0:01:40.400
and are confusing us at each and every
step we, the Homo sapiens, take today.

0:01:41.720,0:01:44.800
Moral Values & Instinctual Drives:

0:01:46.160,0:01:52.400
We are born with a set of instinctual drives which
are inherent in our psychobiological structure.

0:01:53.600,0:01:59.520
We don’t have to go anywhere in order
to learn about them. On the other hand

0:01:59.520,0:02:06.280
we are not born with any set of moral values
in our psychobiological structure. Hence,

0:02:06.280,0:02:12.680
they are not inherent to the human being and
need to be taught anew to every new child born.

0:02:14.040,0:02:18.760
Is there any relationship between the two?
Certainly yes!

0:02:19.640,0:02:25.640
But before investigating into this relationship,
we need to ask another more important question.

0:02:26.960,0:02:32.840
Why did humanity feel the need to create
moral values at all if they were not naturally

0:02:32.840,0:02:39.720
built in our psychobiological structure?
Moral values became necessary because a few

0:02:39.720,0:02:48.160
of those purely instinctual drives scared humans
who then perceived them as threats. This happened

0:02:48.160,0:02:53.040
when humans set out to create a new social
order for the first time in our distant past.

0:02:54.320,0:02:57.400
Which social order were
they scheming to establish?

0:02:58.840,0:03:03.320
It was a plutocratic (the rule or power of wealth)
male dominated social system, operating from an

0:03:03.320,0:03:09.400
already closed sociocultural root chakra, that
these moral values were plotting to uphold.

0:03:10.800,0:03:17.600
And the plutocrats could simply go ahead and
push these so-called values using their wealth.

0:03:18.960,0:03:25.280
They could apply that wealth to either bribe
or starve their subjects to buy their opinion.

0:03:26.720,0:03:32.880
Wealth in the form of personal ownership of
resources had very recently made its entry

0:03:32.880,0:03:40.960
into human life. The ones who were either
strong or cunning or both, for that matter,

0:03:40.960,0:03:47.640
were able to amass these resources more than
the rest, like we discussed in Episode 30.

0:03:48.960,0:03:52.760
And why were these initiators predominantly males?

0:03:54.200,0:04:02.080
It was so because males were stronger (even
if not more cunning) than females. Also they

0:04:02.080,0:04:07.680
had more time at their disposal to accumulate
more wealth than their female counterparts.

0:04:09.120,0:04:15.000
It was simply because females lost time
in delivering and rearing up their kids.

0:04:16.320,0:04:19.840
The kids decidedly belonged to their mothers

0:04:19.840,0:04:27.240
and not fathers since no one could establish
fatherhood beyond doubt. And as they grew,

0:04:27.800,0:04:34.640
they would support their mothers in the pursuit
of amassing wealth. In a way, it could be seen as

0:04:34.640,0:04:41.360
the wealth regained that their mothers had lost
access to while delivering and rearing them up.

0:04:42.680,0:04:49.080
So, males needed a way to know, beyond
doubt, who the father of any given kid was.

0:04:50.360,0:04:56.240
With their sociocultural throat chakras closed,
the males felt ignored as compared to the females,

0:04:56.240,0:05:03.480
thus hurting their esteem. But this would only
be possible if the females agreed to it as well.

0:05:04.880,0:05:11.040
For this, they needed to stop following their
instinctual drive to have sex with any males of

0:05:11.040,0:05:15.480
their choice at any time.
Why would they agree?

0:05:17.080,0:05:24.800
Powerful males in those early societies designed
a new faculty of thought which would uphold newly

0:05:24.800,0:05:31.880
envisioned ‘moral values’ as essentially opposite
alternatives to certain instinctual drives

0:05:31.880,0:05:40.400
predominantly including sex. They did so because,
by this time, their collective sociocultural

0:05:40.400,0:05:47.920
throat chakras were already closed. They were
supported by so-called supernatural practitioners

0:05:47.920,0:05:53.000
who enjoyed a high status among
ignorantly naive early human dwellings.

0:05:54.600,0:05:59.360
These supernatural practitioners,
initially looking forward to transcendence,

0:06:00.080,0:06:03.880
had already fallen prey to
its currency named ‘faith’,

0:06:04.480,0:06:11.080
thus closing the sociocultural crown chakra
of the society. More on that in Episode 33.

0:06:12.480,0:06:20.000
The first of such newly established moral values
declared sex as the basic sin to be avoided as

0:06:20.000,0:06:27.120
much as possible. But since curbing such a
powerful instinct en masse wasn’t feasible

0:06:27.120,0:06:34.960
practically, a new rule was framed that one female
having sex with multiple males was ‘immoral’.

0:06:36.320,0:06:42.680
If she did, she would be severely punished by
another new entity created by the supernatural

0:06:42.680,0:06:48.880
practitioners, named ‘God’.
An Unfortunate Consequence:

0:06:50.240,0:06:57.240
In order for this rule to look unbiased between
genders, it was framed as such for both of them.

0:06:58.680,0:07:05.000
But as an unfortunate consequence, it was
never implemented for males as strictly

0:07:05.000,0:07:11.840
as it was done for females. This was
because human biology went against females.

0:07:13.440,0:07:19.000
Any female engaging in stealthy sex
would sooner or later conceive children

0:07:19.000,0:07:26.400
and be caught for her transgressions. On the other
hand, males could easily evade detection of their

0:07:26.400,0:07:34.600
own transgressions without any telltale signs.
Monogamy – Marriage Comes Into Existence:

0:07:36.040,0:07:43.000
To put an official stamp on this rule, a new
social institution named marriage was designed.

0:07:44.440,0:07:52.240
It limited the choice of sex partners to just
one over an entire lifetime as against many

0:07:52.240,0:08:00.880
for as much time as desired. In some societies a
male could marry several females simultaneously.

0:08:01.440,0:08:06.000
But females were rarely, if
at all, provided this luxury!

0:08:07.560,0:08:14.120
Monogamy, initiated under the domination of
morals effecting sociocultural throat chakra,

0:08:14.760,0:08:19.440
changed its shape to a new social
institution, namely marriage.

0:08:20.720,0:08:25.560
Marriage, designed under the domination of the
currency we are calling ‘personal ownership of

0:08:25.560,0:08:33.000
resources’ further extended adherence to monogamy,
thereby effecting the sociocultural root chakra.

0:08:34.520,0:08:40.040
This enhanced adherence ensured that
the males could be surer about being the

0:08:40.040,0:08:47.520
biological fathers of their spouse’s children.
It turned them all into a close-knit family,

0:08:48.040,0:08:55.320
another sociocultural institution that came
into existence. Hence, before they died,

0:08:55.320,0:09:01.520
the males could hand over their personal ownership
of resources to their children without any doubt,

0:09:01.520,0:09:09.440
like their mothers had always done. Thus marriage,
further strengthening sociocultural root chakra,

0:09:09.440,0:09:16.640
facilitated males to weave a close-knit safety
network in their immediate familial vicinity, too.

0:09:18.080,0:09:19.160
Human Mind:

0:09:20.520,0:09:25.480
Now, a new moral science was
envisaged comprising a set of morals.

0:09:27.120,0:09:30.560
These were the morals that humans ought to follow

0:09:30.560,0:09:35.440
even if they were directly against the
calls of their own instinctual drives.

0:09:36.920,0:09:41.280
Eventually, all such social
morals that were implemented

0:09:41.280,0:09:48.040
went against those allegedly dangerous natural
instinctual drives in one way or the other.

0:09:49.560,0:09:55.240
We as humans are born with instinctual
drives alone in our mind-body system.

0:09:55.960,0:10:01.520
We don’t have any sort of human emotions or
morals in our mind that we start our life with.

0:10:03.120,0:10:09.760
Later, in our journey from childhood to adulthood,
we learn the history of human development.

0:10:11.120,0:10:18.760
We learn it in each and every subject and store
it in the knowledge base of our mind. Then,

0:10:18.760,0:10:25.760
as we grow, we add to that knowledge base from our
own personal experiences to enhance it further.

0:10:27.280,0:10:33.520
This is what the ideal development of human
mind is supposed to be like. It is a set of

0:10:33.520,0:10:39.160
instinctual drives along with a knowledge base
of human achievements in various subjects.

0:10:40.520,0:10:47.840
However, in practice, that is not all that our
mind is subjected to during the formative years of

0:10:47.840,0:10:56.200
our development. It is also indoctrinated with a
value system which is not limited to morals alone.

0:10:57.640,0:11:02.560
Consequently, it tries to turn them
into our aesthetic values as well.

0:11:04.160,0:11:10.120
Presently, our culture very eagerly nails
down several moral values onto our minds.

0:11:11.600,0:11:17.160
Sex As A Necessary Evil
We are taught by our religious

0:11:17.160,0:11:24.640
culture that sex is a necessary evil. This is
done at a stage in our lives when we have not

0:11:24.640,0:11:30.280
even experienced it as a fully developed
instinctual drive in our mind-body system.

0:11:31.520,0:11:39.600
Our minds get conditioned against sex even before
our body grows to incorporate it into our system.

0:11:40.560,0:11:45.880
And the time it does, our conditioning
starts making us feel guilty about it.

0:11:47.360,0:11:51.120
Truthfulness
We are taught that

0:11:51.120,0:11:58.560
truth is a desirable parameter of integrity
even when we don’t know what a lie is. Hence,

0:11:58.560,0:12:06.240
the very inception of truth as a desirable moral
value sows the seeds of learning how to tell lies.

0:12:07.720,0:12:14.480
Prior to sociocultural evolution, our instinctual
drives may not have felt a need to tell a lie.

0:12:15.880,0:12:19.360
But we may not have said we
were speaking the truth either.

0:12:20.800,0:12:26.640
We may have simply said we were speaking. We
may not have needed either of the two concepts.

0:12:27.520,0:12:32.720
Plainly speaking about what we saw
and what we did may have been enough.

0:12:34.200,0:12:38.800
But the same social system that
established monogamy and plutocracy

0:12:38.800,0:12:45.160
realized it was suppressing extremely
strong instinctual drives. It also realized

0:12:45.160,0:12:51.000
people WOULD tend to satiate these drives
stealthily and then claim they did not.

0:12:52.200,0:12:58.360
So, a new concept of truth was envisaged as
opposite to a more basic concept of a lie.

0:12:59.480,0:13:06.320
If a lie were never needed, there wouldn’t have
been any need for a concept of truth to exist too.

0:13:07.480,0:13:11.280
But lies entered the domain of human action

0:13:11.280,0:13:17.640
owing to the establishment of a cunningly
unjustified as well as an unhealthy society.

0:13:19.320,0:13:26.200
Hence, truth was designed as a moral value
to stop people from lying. People, however,

0:13:26.200,0:13:33.600
lied innocently only to satiate their instinctual
drives and hide it from those in authority.

0:13:35.000,0:13:39.560
That is why speaking the truth should
be brought down from its high pedestal.

0:13:40.200,0:13:46.240
We need to peel off the facade of reverence
that our moral values have assigned to it.

0:13:47.360,0:13:48.120
Honesty

0:13:49.520,0:13:57.280
Same is the story of honesty. The very
inception of honesty as a desirable moral value

0:13:57.280,0:14:05.560
sows the seeds of learning how to be dishonest.
Prior to sociocultural evolution, there may not

0:14:05.560,0:14:11.680
have been anything like dishonesty in our
instinctual drives that we needed to act on.

0:14:13.080,0:14:19.040
But the newly established and unjustified
social system feared that people could plot

0:14:19.040,0:14:26.800
secret schemes to rebel against its inherent
suppression. The said moral termed any such

0:14:26.800,0:14:34.000
possibility as dishonesty and coined a desirable
behavior named honesty as its antithesis.

0:14:35.400,0:14:41.920
It is interesting to note that most so-called
anti-moral values are named to be the antithesis

0:14:41.920,0:14:50.960
of moral values; dishonesty vs honesty, for
example. But in fact, conceptually speaking,

0:14:50.960,0:14:58.240
these were morals that were actually conceived as
the antitheses of the so-called anti-moral acts.

0:14:59.360,0:15:00.520
Sense of Duty

0:15:01.800,0:15:08.400
Sense of duty is a set of actions we ought
to do whether we feel like doing them or not.

0:15:09.320,0:15:14.040
Why do we need a stipulation like this
if we already feel like doing those?

0:15:15.120,0:15:21.360
And why do we need the ones being stipulated
if our mind does not feel like doing those?

0:15:22.600,0:15:28.560
Our culture seems to have decided the validity
of ‘duty’ even if it goes against the natural

0:15:28.560,0:15:35.560
composition of the human mind. What good
can we expect to come out of those dutiful

0:15:35.560,0:15:40.640
actions if they don’t have the energy
of our natural willfulness behind them?

0:15:42.160,0:15:50.160
They will simply get reduced to a level of being
artificially performed as forced rituals. We

0:15:50.160,0:15:56.160
will undertake and then perform them only to keep
away the guilt of not having done them at all.

0:15:57.600,0:16:03.280
Prior to sociocultural evolution, we may
have lived with our instinctual drives

0:16:03.280,0:16:10.160
guiding our actions and behavior. And we may
not have needed a concept like a sense of duty.

0:16:11.080,0:16:16.560
We may have simply acted out what our
spontaneous feeling guided us to do.

0:16:17.920,0:16:24.400
It is plausible that any such spontaneous feeling
may primarily have been of concern and sympathy

0:16:24.400,0:16:31.520
for one another. So we may not have needed a sense
of duty in order to act in the most desirable way.

0:16:33.080,0:16:38.160
But with the suppression of our instinctual
drives, we wouldn’t feel such concern and

0:16:38.160,0:16:43.680
sympathy for those who have themselves
also suppressed those same drives.

0:16:45.200,0:16:52.080
Once again, as yet another anti-thesis to
instinctual drives, the sense of duty was

0:16:52.080,0:17:00.160
formulated as one more moral value. Morals were
supposed to be upheld under any circumstances.

0:17:01.480,0:17:07.280
Otherwise, the sin that we committed would
not let us live without a feeling of guilt.

0:17:08.520,0:17:09.520
Respect

0:17:10.640,0:17:17.120
We are taught to respect our elders and seniors.
We are not taught to respect our juniors.

0:17:17.920,0:17:23.160
Why this one-sided approach to something that
our culture considers such an important value?

0:17:24.640,0:17:31.720
Therefore, respect as a value immediately
strikes us as feudal in its very inception.

0:17:32.800,0:17:40.880
The human mind is not designed to respect. It is
designed to interact. It is designed to share. And

0:17:40.880,0:17:48.240
it is designed to love. Respect is a very formal
concept that requires a distance between the two

0:17:48.240,0:17:56.480
individuals involved. The respected one stands
on a higher pedestal than the one who respects.

0:17:57.600,0:18:03.840
The more we respect like we do our fathers,
especially in the developing countries,

0:18:03.840,0:18:10.280
the less we love them. That is because
respect necessitates kind of separation.

0:18:11.440,0:18:18.760
And the more we love like we do our mothers,
the less we need to respect them. That is

0:18:18.760,0:18:26.720
because love eliminates any such separation.
It is still customary in the Eastern societies

0:18:26.720,0:18:32.760
(and used to be in all societies until a few
centuries ago) for fathers to act like an

0:18:32.760,0:18:39.920
authoritarian judge in the family court passing
sentences on kids that are generally corporal.

0:18:41.040,0:18:48.440
Mothers can, at best, play the role of kids’
advocates pleading mercy for their ‘crimes’.

0:18:49.640,0:18:57.200
Same, till very recently, had been true in case
of teachers in schools as well. Teachers have been

0:18:57.200,0:19:04.320
preoccupied with enforcing respect as a means to
extracting their desired behavior from students.

0:19:05.480,0:19:12.200
This has created an authoritative chasm between
the teacher and the student, thereby eliminating

0:19:12.200,0:19:20.080
any possibility of a healthy kinship. Such kinship
may have resulted in the desired behaviors more

0:19:20.080,0:19:26.680
organically in the first place. Laws have been
made in some of these countries prohibiting

0:19:26.680,0:19:32.440
teachers assigning corporal punishments to
the students though they are often broken.

0:19:33.760,0:19:34.640
Obedience

0:19:36.080,0:19:43.560
Obedience, as a value, is a sub-set of respect. As
a younger person, we are not supposed to question

0:19:43.560,0:19:50.200
or raise doubts against the orders of our
elders. This again is a very feudal value.

0:19:51.440,0:19:56.920
Here again, in the Eastern countries, kids are
supposed to be more obedient to their fathers

0:19:56.920,0:20:03.200
than to their mothers who they can argue with at
times, though in the absence of their fathers.

0:20:04.680,0:20:09.600
Similarly they are culturally supposed
to be obedient to their teachers as well.

0:20:11.120,0:20:17.440
As a result, they seldom question their teachers
even if they have genuine queries in their minds.

0:20:18.800,0:20:23.800
Questioning teachers is not culturally
encouraged as learning is supposed to be

0:20:23.800,0:20:29.960
a one way communication from the teacher
to the student. The students are supposed

0:20:29.960,0:20:34.400
to learn by rote what instructions
their teachers have passed on to them.

0:20:35.720,0:20:42.240
The human mind is not naturally designed for
feudalism. And if we force it to conform,

0:20:42.800,0:20:47.600
we are simply suppressing the instinctual
drives we are naturally born with.

0:20:48.840,0:20:49.920
Good Manners

0:20:51.240,0:20:57.360
Good manners are all protocols in their essence.
We are supposed to behave a certain way in a

0:20:57.360,0:21:03.600
certain scenario. And we do so whether we
are feeling like behaving that way or not.

0:21:04.520,0:21:08.800
The more we follow these dictats,
the less authentic we become.

0:21:10.120,0:21:15.200
We must say, “Very pleased to see you,”
on meeting someone even if we are not so.

0:21:16.000,0:21:21.160
Aren’t we telling a lie which violates
another moral value named truthfulness?

0:21:22.400,0:21:23.080
Faith

0:21:24.400,0:21:30.080
If we have faith, we don’t question.
But our minds are wired to question.

0:21:31.520,0:21:38.360
And faith as a moral value tries its best to
suppress curiosity that we are born with as an

0:21:38.360,0:21:47.320
instinct. Unfortunately, it doesn’t limit itself
to being a moral value alone, it also plays its

0:21:47.320,0:21:54.840
role as a currency for transcendence needs. As the
currency becomes more important than fulfilling

0:21:54.840,0:22:01.880
the genuine need as such, the sociocultural
crown chakra falls prey and gets closed as well.

0:22:02.920,0:22:06.520
We are going to look into it in Episode 33.
Loyalty

0:22:06.520,0:22:13.400
We have already talked about loyalty clouding
real love and belonging needs as their currency

0:22:13.400,0:22:21.400
through a closed sociocultural heart chakra in
Episode 31. But it goes a step further from there

0:22:21.400,0:22:28.080
as it assumes the status of ‘morals’ as well,
closing sociocultural throat chakra along.

0:22:29.200,0:22:34.400
Loyalty is a highly respected moral
value which supposes us to be committed.

0:22:35.440,0:22:41.280
It is a commitment to a certain
person, institution or an idea.

0:22:41.920,0:22:48.480
In addition, loyalty is uniquely characterized by
its blind and unconditional support for the same.

0:22:49.720,0:22:54.640
Our minds, however, are not so
indiscriminate in their natural structure.

0:22:56.000,0:23:02.840
Loyalty simply stands against our judicious sense
of discernment between one action and another.

0:23:04.120,0:23:10.120
Now, we can go into further details of each
one of these values. We can easily show that

0:23:10.120,0:23:16.160
they all stand against instinctual drives
either overtly or else in a covert way.

0:23:17.520,0:23:27.200
Instinctual Drives:
Eating | Drinking | Excreting | Curiosity |

0:23:27.200,0:23:37.680
Movement | Play | Adventure | Interaction |
Love | Grouping | Sex | Reproduction | Parenting

0:23:38.960,0:23:44.160
The moral values are nailed very hard
and deep into the structure of the mind

0:23:44.160,0:23:46.240
and away from the structure of the brain.

0:23:47.200,0:23:53.840
They play their role very well in suppressing
the energy of our death instincts and keep it so.

0:23:55.200,0:24:02.440
But, like water, energy can never be kept
suppressed for long. And like water finds

0:24:02.440,0:24:08.640
new channels for its flow, energy also
invents new channels for its expression.

0:24:09.960,0:24:11.280
Human Emotions

0:24:12.640,0:24:19.120
The channels that the energy of these suppressed
instinctual drives invents for its expression are

0:24:19.120,0:24:31.120
named human emotions. Of these, the main ones are:
Desire | Greed | Hope | Happiness | Surprise |

0:24:31.120,0:24:42.040
Anger | Envy | Jealousy | Disappointment |
Guilt | Sadness | Fear | Anxiety | Depression

0:24:43.320,0:24:49.160
These human emotions are channelled to express
the energy of the blocked instinctual drives.

0:24:50.560,0:24:55.760
But they are never as innocent and as
straightforward as the instinctual drives

0:24:55.760,0:25:02.720
themselves are. They are rather the distorted
forms of expressing the suppressed energy.

0:25:04.120,0:25:09.480
And they do so in bursts rather than
a smooth flow, unlike instincts.

0:25:10.840,0:25:13.360
Will vs. Will Power

0:25:13.360,0:25:20.520
Human emotions generate a new faculty of will in
the structure of our mind. Will is nothing but an

0:25:20.520,0:25:28.480
urge to compensate for the loss of sensitivity,
joy and creativity suffered by instinctual drives.

0:25:29.800,0:25:35.520
Moral faculty is very much able to see through
the real purpose behind the generation of this new

0:25:35.520,0:25:43.240
faculty. And in its attempt to keep it suppressed
as it was before its inception, it comes up with

0:25:43.240,0:25:49.680
a newer faculty that we call will power.
Contrary to what we believe it to be,

0:25:50.200,0:25:58.820
will power, in reality, is the power acting
against the execution of will, not for it. Will

0:25:58.820,0:26:04.880
power is armed with the appeal of being morally
judicious to work against the execution of will.

0:26:05.880,0:26:13.240
It does so by projecting will as irresponsible
even if it cannot brand it as immoral.

0:26:14.680,0:26:23.200
Will is not a very healthy faculty in our mind
but will power is even less so! Will, comprising

0:26:23.200,0:26:31.360
both positive and negative human emotions, creates
sharp edges in our personality. It is because will

0:26:31.360,0:26:39.160
expresses energy in hot aggressive bursts and not
in a cool smooth flow like instinctual drives do.

0:26:40.680,0:26:47.000
And as far as will power is concerned, its sole
purpose is to block the flow of life energy.

0:26:48.320,0:26:54.280
It doesn’t bother if this energy belongs
to instinctual drives or to human emotions.

0:26:55.600,0:27:00.600
How Established Value Systems
Resulted In Charitable Organizations

0:27:02.080,0:27:07.800
We saw how moral value systems always
worked to suppress and even repress

0:27:07.800,0:27:15.240
the passion and joy of the free instinctual drives
of sex, curiosity, adventure and interaction.

0:27:16.440,0:27:21.920
They turned life mechanical and the
masses into cogs of the incessant wheel

0:27:21.920,0:27:31.000
of consumerist production. Consequently, despite
the abundant material progress that humanity made,

0:27:31.000,0:27:36.160
the individual cogs of the wheel always
felt a sense of spiritual scarcity.

0:27:37.360,0:27:42.080
The fruits of this abundant growth
were never distributed liberally.

0:27:43.560,0:27:47.360
Hence the masses always felt
material scarcity as well.

0:27:48.880,0:27:55.160
As cogs of the wheel, the individuals also
seriously limited their potential for insight.

0:27:56.280,0:28:01.360
Insight could have turned humanity
into a real abundant society for all

0:28:01.360,0:28:06.080
and not for only a chosen few sitting at
the helm of those wheels of production.

0:28:07.280,0:28:14.720
However, we took the less valuable path of
mere innovation, arising from a sharp mind

0:28:14.720,0:28:22.800
as opposed to a truly intelligent brain. Thus,
moral value systems ruined it once again.

0:28:24.280,0:28:31.360
The more materially abundant humanity grew,
the more impoverished its individuals felt.

0:28:32.440,0:28:39.000
Moral value systems worked very well to keep its
individuals alive enough to keep working as those

0:28:39.000,0:28:47.320
cogs in its giant wheel of perennial growth. It
very cunningly created charitable organizations,

0:28:47.320,0:28:51.640
putting charity at a high
pedestal as a liberal moral value.

0:28:53.160,0:29:00.360
Do you see the pattern yet? When esteem needs
got corrupted by the currency of morality,

0:29:00.360,0:29:07.360
we ended up, yet again, with an institutional
manifestation of another sociocultural chakra,

0:29:07.360,0:29:12.840
this time the throat chakra.
Charitable organizations gradually

0:29:12.840,0:29:19.080
gained credence to such a degree that, today,
a significant portion of the population is

0:29:19.080,0:29:23.480
surviving on the government charity in
some parts of the developing world today.
